AOSTI would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended our AGM & Conference Day at Tara. In particular we thank our expert Guest Speakers who made such interesting and engaging presentations.
It was a most enjoyable day for everyone and we look forward to even greater membership next year as we move forward in promoting our aims.
Lastly, but certainly not least, we would like to thank our dedicated Committee for all their great work this year, and of course all our members for their support.
We look forward to continuing to work with you as we advance AOSTI’s aims towards professional standards in the ever blossoming world of Sound Therapy.
Mark Bell spoke of the importance of self care and also of imparting aftercare information for the client. This has been crucial to optimal health especially in recent times as more and more people struggle with the aftermath both physically and psychologically, of recent times.
He then introduced the audience to heart opening and other safe acupuncture points that can be stimulated with a specialised tuning fork for amplified effect, as well as being used as a diagnostic aid. His work towards recognition within the medical field of the power of Sound Therapy is greatly appreciated, as well as his dedication to raising awareness in the general public. It was a most engaging and fascinating presentation.
Olive Mac Donagh introduced the audience to the power of Mantra and Chant, connecting us to our magic within, to our power to heal, and to connect with Source/God. It was a powerful, divine experience that extended out to the sacred land of Tara itself. Olive transmits the purest frequencies in her voice, transmuting blocked energy into free flowing divine essence.
Liam Oragh next transported the audience with his artisan Fire and Earth gongs during a spectacular Sound Bath in his own unique style. We hovered in a space between sleep and awakeness as energies were rebalanced physically, mentally and spiritually throughout. Everyone received a deep healing in this session, a testament to the incredible power of sound.
Sound Baths delivered by a fully trained, professional Sound Therapist like Liam can facilitate several days of healing, lasting long after the sound bath itself. One of the aims of AOSTI is to promote the education of the general public towards finding fully trained facilitators who know how to deliver sound baths in a safe way for their clients.
Yvonne Skelly then spoke about her work, her journey with sound and introduced us to the Solfeggio Frequencies. She spoke about Cymatics, the work of Maseru Emoto, sacred geometry and how they form a coherent effect for healing, before leading us into an ethereal meditation with the subtle yet powerful Solfeggio tones. It was the perfect way to bring the Conference to a close.
Those who stayed on afterwards for the dowsing experience were brought up onto the Hill of Tara for a talk on the landscape and history of Tara with Carmel Diviney. She spoke about the various features including Teach Míchuarta, where each had a turn at working with dowsing rods and mapping our findings before moving to Rath Gráinne to experience the feminine energies of that side of the Hill.
It was a most enjoyable and grounding experience on a warm sunny evening at such a beautiful sacred site to complete a fantastic day.
Le grá,
AOSTI
