SOOTHE & RESTORE SOUND THERAPY
WITH
LAYLA MARONEY
DÚN LAOGHAIRE, DUBLIN.

I’m a proud member of AOSTI and a committed Sound Therapy Practitioner based in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. I rent my own small private full-time studio where I’ve created a warm, welcoming space for each client to feel safe, supported, and truly seen.
I completed my ITEC-accredited Sound Therapy training in Ireland and deepened my practice through additional study, certification, and immersive learning in Nepal where I connected with the cultural roots of Himalayan sound instruments. I also completed my Reiki training up to Master Level in Nepal.
My work blends traditional Sound Therapy training with intuitive, heart-led practice, enriched by my background in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction. This gives me a grounded understanding of the body, the nervous system, and the role that movement, stress, nutrition, and recovery play in overall wellbeing.
I was recently shortlisted for a Rising Star Award for my work with Sound which was a great honour in these early first years.
I currently support clients through 1:1 Sound Therapy, Semi-private Group Sound Baths, Reiki, and Rahanni, using gentle, restorative practices that help reduce overwhelm, improve sleep, and restore emotional balance.
My approach is warm, grounded, and client-centred. I love creating a space where people can exhale, reset, and reconnect with themselves in a real-world, authentic way.
I’m passionate about continued learning, sharing knowledge, building community, and contributing to the growth of our field.
I’m genuinely thrilled to be part of AOSTI and look forward to connecting with fellow Practitioners as we continue to elevate professional Sound Therapy in Ireland and beyond.
In my personal life, I’m a wife to Stephen, a proud mum to two wonderful adult sons, and a pet parent to Rosie, our mini cockapoo. My other interests include writing and sharing poetry, music, resistance training exercise, pool and sauna time, meditation, visiting garden centres, listening to podcasts, connecting with people and embracing my inner child with fun, and finding adventures and stories in the every day moments.
