The Body Listens Before the Mind Understands: Sound as a Direct Language of the Nervous System

Sound is received by the body before it is understood by the mind. This educational, sound-led talk explores how rhythm, vibration and silence communicate directly with the nervous system, supporting regulation and deep rest.

Through simple explanations and short live sound demonstrations, participants will gain a clearer, embodied understanding of why sound can be effective without effort, belief or analysis.

Layla Moroney, Soothe & Restore

The Body’s Response to Sound:

A Gentle Sound Therapy Experience with Himalayan Singing Bowls

This session offers a gentle introduction to sound therapy and a chance to experience the calming effects of a singing bowl sound bath. Designed for anyone curious about sound as a tool for wellbeing, the session provides a safe, welcoming space to slow down, relax, and explore the experience at your own pace.

Layla will guide participants through a brief introduction to the principles of sound therapy while sharing insights and knowledge from her training in Nepal, including how Himalayan singing bowls are traditionally made with ritual and reverence.

She will then facilitate a soothing sound bath using Himalayan singing bowls. The session allows the vibrations and tones to create a sense of calm, clarity, and restoration.

Layla is a professional member of AOSTI (Association of Sound Therapists Ireland),an organisation that promotes recognised standards, ongoing learning , peer support and a strong focus on client care, offering reassurance that the session is guided by recognised training, good practice, and gentle heart-led care.

Tara Crawford, Wellbeing with Wings

Sacred Solfeggio Frequencies: A Brief Introduction to the Healing Benefits of the Sacred Solfeggio Frequencies

In this workshop, Tara will discuss Solfeggio Frequencies & how they can help enhance your wellbeing. Solfeggio Frequencies are a deep and meaningful addition to any therapeutic modality or self care practice. They are often referred to as Sacred Sounds.

Tara will discuss the relationship between the Chakras and Solfeggio Frequencies & also demonstrate how deeply healing these frequencies can be. Using specifically tuned Solfeggio Pipe Chimes, you will experience how they can harmonise with your body and both the conscious and subconscious mind.
